Did you know?
Drafting Tape only seals/bonds to clean, dry paper.
It can be used to mask off areas of a Watercolor Painting with little risk of damaging either the painting or the paper because it will not seal completely with a painted surface. Therefore, it is good for lifting out paint along an edge, but not good for applying paint along a sharp edge. Why? Because the tape will not bond to a painted surface and wet pigment will bleed underneath it. It is ideal for securing your paper to a substrate such as a sheet of plexiglass or a gatorboard.
