Here's a little beach tutorial

During one of John Fackrell's classes he showed us how to tear a scrap paper edge to use for a quick masking to shape ocean surf. Remember that? This tutorial reminded me; she uses torn edges to preserve the dune shape while painting loose and flowing grasses. It's a neat technique to remember for quickly masking all sorts of shapes. It would work for winter snow humps and twigs/grass, too, I think. 
Keep those brushes wet, and I hope to see you all at the paint-out at Barb's today, heat notwithstanding. 😎😜
